Today we wanted to share with you an email we received from Josh Cales describing the MAJOR gains he has made using our 6-Week Power Endurance Program by Kris Peters. It is the perfect example of how some hard structured training can really pay off.
Enter Josh Cales…
My name is Josh and I am from New Mexico and living in Australia at the moment. I wanted to throw you all some feedback about your Power Endurance program I bought 10 weeks ago.
I am working on a Masters degree in Exercise Science and have a background in Physical Education with a speciality in Health Education and Outdoor Education. So, I was a little skeptical about the program when I bought it, but I needed to bump my grade and figured why not.
I am pleased to inform you that I am completely impressed with the periodized format of the program and with the results I received. I was bouldering V5 and sport climbing 5.11d when I started the program 10 weeks ago, and I am now bouldering V7 and climbing 5.12c! The fact that I made that jump in the first 6 weeks was AMAZING!!! I’m currently in week 2 of my second round.
I am so impressed that I am going to continue to use this program for 6 more 6 weeks cycles to see if I can get to 5.13a by December. It’s a bit ambitious, but with my background in Exercise Rehab/Science, the program to help keep me on track, and my trusty journal to help me pick up where I leave off I am confident I’ll accomplish my goal!
I want to thank Kris Peters and Justen, not to mention Training Beta for making this program available a decent price that a broke ass college kid can afford. You guys are awesome and I hope you keep cranking out dope tips and programs to progress the sport of climbing! Keep on kicking ass and hopefully I can continue to do right by you guys! Please pass this on to those that would like to hear a positive piece of feedback.
