Power endurance is your ability to keep doing a lot of fairly hard moves in a row, without much in the way of rests. No moves are particularly hard or easy, they’re just on you and as the pump builds, it gets harder to keep doing them. You can do every move–meaning, you have the power to do every move–it’s just a matter of whether you can do them all in a row without rest.

If you feel like you keep coming up short on the amount of power you have to finish out a sequence then some power endurance training could be just what you need.

We’re here to help!

Below is a screenshot of one of the workouts from the Power Endurance Training Program that Kris Peters, one of the top climbing trainers in the US, wrote for us. The workout includes the familiar 4x4s workout with some circuit training mixed in….be prepared to train hard! Videos are included for the circuit training exercises.

Hopefully this workout will give you a little boost in your power endurance! If you like this workout and want to get 6-weeks worth of them, check out the program in full.
