When most of us think of the campus board we think of it as power training tool. While this is definitely it’s most common use, campusing can also be used to train power endurance as the recent EpicTV video with Adam Ondra illustrates.
This video is another installment in a series where Adam takes us inside his training. This video shows us the high level exercises he uses to train power endurance on the campus board. As with all the videos in this series, we don’t just see Adam working hard. We also get to hear Adam discussing what he prioritizes when training power endurance.
While you can definitely take some practical advice from this video, it’s important to remember that we all aren’t Adam Ondra so we shouldn’t all try to train like him. Use this video (and the others in the series) as a dose of motivation. If you are going to try to replicate some of Adam’s training, try to learn from the basic principles and his priorities. Don’t just try and replicate his workouts.

Watch the video and prepare to be motivated! Just keep in mind that campusing is dangerous and as Adam says this type of training is really only for elite climbers.
