The Access Fund has partnered with Black Diamond to launch the ROCK project. It is an initiative aimed at engaging the climbing community to be mindful of our impact when we get outside.  They are working to ensure the future of climbing access in America by inspiring climbers to be stewards and responsible users of outdoor climbing resources.

Part of the ROCK project is a Pact they are asking climbers to commit to. The Pact is a promise between climbers to practice a set of 10 responsible outdoor behaviors that protect climbing access (such as stay on established trails and pack out your trash).

After all, what good would all of this training be (that we encourage!) if we can’t take it outside and put it to use? 🙂
